WHAT IS IT?
You've been asked to help out someone who's been left the keys to an old house by their Uncle, Charles Davenport.
Uncle Charles likes musical puzzles, so there's something to solve in order to get into each room.
Can you make your way through the house to the music room?
There are 6 puzzles in total:
HALLWAY:
Basic musical knowledge (e.g. how many beats notes are worth, what does treble clef symbolize, how many 'Middle C's are on the piano)
There is an English terminology version and an American terminology version of this puzzle.
LIVING ROOM:
Play through a simple piece (both hands) and identify the number of times a certain finger is used.
BATHROOM:
Listen to a piece, follow the music, and figure out the missing notes.
KITCHEN:
Match up rhythms to food
BEDROOM:
Work out how many extra beats are in each bar, and add the extra beats together.
STUDY:
Put together the bars of music to write out a well-known piece of music.
