Christmas Colour-By-Music

The lead-up to Christmas can be chaotic. You yearn for a moment of quiet. Christmas colour-by-music is the answer!

WHAT IS IT?

There are three different types of colour-by-music in this download:

1. Penguin Cards
Students find the letters in the penguin picture, find the matching note in the colouring key, and discover the colour to use in that lettered-section.

They can then fold their penguin page in half to create a Christmas card (perhaps to give to their favourite piano teacher!)

2. Christmas Pictures

There are four different pictures, all numbered.
Students find a number on the picture and the box on the colouring key containing the same number of beats. They then discover the colour they need to use for that numbered section.

3. Merry Christmas

This picture is blank (no numbers or letters). There is also a blank colouring key.

Give one student the blank colouring key and picture and instruct them to create their own key and draw on the corresponding letters/numbers/musical symbols.

When their Merry Christmas picture has been annotated, give it to another student to colour in.
