Reinforce your students' understanding of time signatures and note values with this adorable cat themed game!
WHAT IS IT?
Players take it in turns to pick up cat treats / cat toy cards and identify the value of the note or rest. They then decide on a cat to give it to (making sure they don't exceed the number of beats in the time signature!). If the card completes the time signature (for example, if there were three beats in a 4/4 time signature and they add a one beat note) then they befriend that cat.
The player with the most cat friends at the end is the winner!
