This animal-themed rhythm game is great for beginner music students needing to reinforce their understanding of crotchets and quavers (quarter notes and eighth notes)
WHAT IS IT?- Player one picks up a musical question card and identifies the rhythmic note
They then see if they have an animal on their board that matches the rhythm (i.e. a one-syllable animal or a two-syllable animal)They cover up a matching animal with a token (only one animal can be covered up per turn)
- Player two takes their turn
- The first player to cover up all their animals is the winner!
